Stop Your Excessive Sweating

The whole point of undergoing treatment for your hyperhidrosis is to stop excessively sweating, and that is exactly what Invigorate Health can help you achieve. Our treatments work by shutting down the nerves in your body that activate the sweat glands. Once these nerves are no longer able to send signals to the sweat glands, you will stop sweating. One of the great things about this hyperhidrosis treatment is that it is very easy to prepare for the procedure. Given that the treatment involves simple injections, it is easy to undergo.

I've had the surgery and tried medications before and neither have helped my under arm sweating. I got Botox - 100 units in each arm. It was 2/10 pain - just felt like mini pokes. No sweating now! I can finally wear t-shirts and normal clothes. I haven't had sweating anywhere else.

I have been receiving Botox for hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet from Invigorate Health for about a year. It has been a truly life changing experience for me. Their staff are so nice to work with and I feel my comfort is their priority.

I visited Invigorate Health a few months ago for Botox injections intomy armpits to help with excessive sweating. Nicole was extremely attentive, patient, and reassuring. I was nervous for the procedure after hearing thatBotox injections into the armpits could be very painful, but she made sure Iwas comfortable. She applied a numbing cream and iced my armpits beforeinjecting and I felt no pain whatsoever throughout the entire procedure!

How Is Hyperhidrosis Treated?

Your primary care provider at our clinic will ask about your symptoms (where and how often you sweat) and overall health. Usually, lifestyle changes, or medications have already been tired and do not work, thus the main treatment we use here at Invigorate Health is Neurotoxin Injections. Injecting botulinum toxin (Botox) into an overactive nerve can stop sweat production for months at a time. Treatments must be repeated depending on the severity of your condition.

Benefits of Hyperhidrosis Therapy Treatment

There are many body conditions that can make people feel self-conscious and one of the most common is hyperhidrosis. Also known as excessive sweating, the condition happens across different areas of the body, including the armpits, palms and feet. At Invigorate Health, we have several treatments available. what to expect

Before the treatment
A topical numbing cream will be applied to the area that is going to be treated. Once the numbing has taken effect, the provider will then inject the area with the Botox.

During the treatment
Just sit back, relax and let our provider inject the affected area with Botox. Enjoy a virtually pain free experience with the benefits of no more excessive sweat.

After the treatment
You can go home immediately after the treatment.
You should avoid exercise, and not have hot baths or showers for the rest of the day.
Most healthcare providers will recommend a follow-up appointment 1–2 weeks after the procedure. This is to touch up any missed areas, and check for side effects.

How do I know if I have Hyperhidrosis?

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, is described and defined as sweating above and beyond the physiological needs of the body. A certain amount of sweat is normal and a compulsory part of our ability to regulate our body temperature. It gives us the ability to secrete certain chemicals which have no more use in our bodies.

When do the effects of Botox kick in for sweating?

You can resume your normal activities immediately after receiving Botox injections. It usually takes between 2 and 4 days to notice your results and 2 weeks for the injections to take full effect.

If I Have Excessive Body Sweating, Does That Mean I Have Hyperhidrosis?

The location of your excessive sweating determines the difference between excessive body sweat and hyperhidrosis. Essentially, hyperhidrosis only occurs in three forms: palmar, plantar and axillary. It manifests in the hands, feet, or face.

How expensive is Botox for sweating?

The cost of Botox injections varies greatly depending on your circumstances, the clinic you visit, and where you live. If you need several areas of your body done, the costs can be substantial.
